Legenda is the first Russian luxury watch and jewelry manufacturer. Legenda manufacture was founded in 1992 in Moscow.
The manufacture was previously named Zolotoe Vremya (Gold Time). Legenda manages a complete in-house development and production.
Only a few manufactures in the world are similar to Legenda and 80% of them are located in Switzerland; among half a thousand famous watch brands only couple dozen manage their own manufactures of partial or complete production cycle.
From casting of precious metals for watch cases and up to the last stage of craftsmanship there are more than 60 different manufacturing operations which have been consistently carried out on the territory of one enterprise in Moscow since 1992. In a modern world such a consistency is a phenomenon that gives Legenda the right to be called a manufacturer.

All types of existing movements: mechanical manual-winding movement, automatic self-winding movement and quartz movement.
There is a wide variety of clock functions from classical “3 hands” showing hours, minutes and seconds to different complex options: month date, week day, big date, lunar calendar, power reserve, the second time zone, chronographs with a horizontal or vertical clutch by choice, different combinations of functions above.
Movements for Legenda watches are mainly produced in Switzerland. Legenda uses standard Swiss calibers and calibers specially modified by Swiss watchmakers for Legenda.
All movements are subsequently processed on the territory of Legenda Manufacture. Movements are dismantled, processed, decorated, regulated and only after that are being prepared for assembling. Some movements are finalized by Legenda Manufacture: moon phase wheels made of gold with enamel coating, automatic winding rotors made of gold alloy (in the color of the watch case) turn into masterpieces through skeletonizing and artistic hand engraving by Legenda Masters.
The creation of Legenda in-house manufactured caliber and simultaneously the first Russian caliber is in future; up until now there haven’t been any 100% Russian (or even Soviet ones) calibers developed and produced in Russia. This is a very complicated task that depends on many other industries of the country. Watch movements like car engines and transmissions are being produced by a very small number of global companies: at this stage Legenda uses the same resources of the same manufacturers as most of Swiss watch brands do.
Sirius is the flagship of Legenda collections. In fact, Legenda Sirius encompasses all the experience and handicraft of Legenda Manufacture.This watch encloses the design idea, manufacturability and at the same time craftsmanship of an unsurpassed level.
Watch movement manually skeletonized and encrusted with precious stones has a margin of safety similar to a basic intact one. Chronograph function operates in the same way as the one of professional watch movements certified by chronometry institutes – adjustment is operated manually. Wherein, this watch is not required to perform tasks of such level of precision as it literally presents itself as a masterpiece and a combination of technological beauty and handicraft.
Essentially, Legenda Sirius watches are technically sophisticated, luxury jewelry that are worth of being exhibited in a museum. Most watches of the collection are produced as limited edition series.
There is a wide variety of personalization options: initials engraving, dedicatory inscriptions and/or images engraving including three-dimensional ones.
We strongly recommend to choose initials engraving. As time passes by it turns out that the best choice are laconic neat initials which are never boring and are taken in the watch world as an expression of a good taste. At the same time initials don’t interfere with the devolution of a watch. For the same reasons we recommend not to experiment with a dial of a watch. However, in the end it is always up to the Customer and we are happy to transform any fantasy into reality!
Technologically the engraving process is briefly as follows: the first step is drafting a technical task for the Artist who in turn is drawing a sketch; next step is a sketch approval by the Customer and a transfer of the sketch to the technologist who sets a 2D or 3D task for the designer; when finished the model is transferred to the program operator who writes a program code for the CNC machining center; at this stage the process of direct implementation starts.

The process of Legenda strap removal takes a few seconds; the simplicity of the process gives the watch Owner an ability to change the strap every day according to the outfit, mood, occasion without submitting the watch to the service center like there is no need to address the studio on daily basis for shoes or belt change.
All Legenda straps are exclusively handmade of silk, genuine calf leather, rare animals leather (the Louisiana alligator, the Nile perch, Malaysian lizard, the reticulated python, the African ostrich, the Javanese toad) and are easily interchangeable.
In most cases watch straps are being selected by size except situations when watches by particular brands require specific fastening and/or other special features.
Constant size range of Legenda straps represents the following size chart: 22-20, 20-18, 18-16, 13-12.
The first digit indicates the width between strap attaching portions in mm, the second digit indicates the width of strap fastening in mm. Legenda straps are compatible with classic buckles (with a tongue) and with clasp bands (single and double-fold).
If any other size is required our watchmakers will custom sewing strap according to the Customer’s watch size; the Customer can choose the material and its color, the strap’s thickness, the color of stitches.

Legenda Service Center is located directly on the territory of Legenda Manufacture and is the only authorized warranty and post-warranty service center for Legenda and Zolotoe Vremya watches.
The Customer can always visit Legenda service center or send us a request. We will gladly assist you and provide with all the instructions on how it is possible to send your Legenda timepiece or jewelry for maintenance service or repair from any city of Russian Federation in the most comfortable and fastest way.

The DTB diagnostics is a detailed diagnostics of a watch conducted by the specialists from the Design Technological Bureau (hereinafter - DTB) in accordance with the established diagnostic map. The DTB diagnostics is required before starting any repair or service operation in Legenda service center.
As a result of the DTB diagnostics specialists issue a diagnostic report with guidance on required and recommended services and its estimate. Legenda managers send the report to the Customer by email and are at further assistance should there are any questions.
DTB diagnostics map includes the following procedures:
• watch identification;
• impermeability diagnostics;
• timing calibrations;
• examination of main operating components;
• an extent of watch wearing definition;
• estimates of required services;
• estimates of recommended services according to the results of the DTB diagnostics.
The DTB diagnostics is an independent service of the Legenda service center. Its price is 2000 rubles. In case the Customer agrees to perform any service from the offered estimates, diagnostics is free of charge. The process takes 1-3 working days depending on the request and loading level of the Legenda Service Center
Movement Maintenance Service (hereinafter – MMS) is a technical servicing of a movement. Maintenance of any movement of any
level of complexity by any manufacturer is recommended every 3 to 4 years regardless of operation frequency.
Watches that are used actively and daily could require maintenance at earlier time period. The same about watches not
used for a long time. If maintenance is delayed it can lead to watch parts wearing. Watch wear shortens movement’s operational
period which in turn leads to damage and requires replacement of parts. Parts wear occurs due to used oil (i.e. thickening)
and/or dried oil.
MMS is includes the following operations:
• dismantling of a watch: a watch case is separated from a movement;
• complete dismantling of watch case: pushers are disassembled, the tube of the crown is removed, the glass is extruded;
• dismantling of the crown’s spring; dismantling of the shaft, removal of gaskets and compactors;
• complete dismantling of a movement;
• washing of all watch case and movement parts in a ultrasonic machine with specific baths;
• replacement of defective parts;*
• lubrication of each movement component;
• assembling of a movement;
• adjustment and regulation of a movement according to technical requirements;
• replacement of hands;**
• watch case assembling: glass and sleeve installation, assembling of a pusher with new gaskets (with replacement);
• restoration of watch case impermeability: replacement of all gaskets and compactors;***
• reassembling of a watch;
• timing calibrations;****
• impermeability diagnostics.
*Replacement of defective parts is carried out only in case of their detection. Detection of defective parts is possible after movement parts are washed: a careful study of washed parts is generated. In case of defective parts detection watchmakers make a picture and send it to the Customer. All kinds of operations are suspended until the receipt of Customer’s approval by e-mail. Price of parts replacement is included into overall maintenance price. The Customer needs to pay only for accessories i.e. new substitutes for defective parts. In case of Customer’s refusal, the movement is assembled with a defective part and in this situation no warranties apply on movement’s performance.
**Movement maintenance process includes replacing of watch hands. Hands are installed under warranty only once: hands’ seat place is narrower than a shaft which ensures a tight fit. As a result dismantling of hands within full movement disassembling leads to widening of an opening hole and subsequent guaranteed installation is not possible as hands with high probability won’t tightly fit to a shaft’s axis.
***Watch impermeability restoration is performed according to initially declared impermeability degree of a particular watch model.
****As a result of movement maintenance original movement settings are being restored: the amplitude of the spring, precision
difference up to 24 hours, and the deviation of the axis’ balance.
Important!
Should watch case impermeability is absent the warranty on MMS is provided for 1 month.
Should the watch case is sealed the warranty lasts 12 months.
Many factors affect the watch during its operation: weather conditions, mechanical damage etc. As a result the watch case loses its original aesthetic appearance and its impermeability: gaskets and compactors lose their elasticity. The watch case refinishing service (hereinafter - Refinishing) helps to restore luster.
The process of Refinishing includes the following operations:
• dismantling of a watch: a watch case is separated from a movement;
• complete dismantling of a movement: pushers are disassembled, the tube of the crown is removed, the glass is extruded;
• dismantling of the crown’s spring; dismantling of the shaft, gaskets and compactors removal;
• washing of all movement parts in a ultrasonic machine with specific baths;
• different level polishing of all watch case parts;
• restoration of different decorations (directional hatch, tarnish etc.);
• watch case assembling: glass and sleeve installation, assembling of a pusher with new gaskets;
• restoration of watch case impermeability: replacement of all gaskets and compactors;*
• reassembling of a watch;
• impermeability diagnostics.*
*Watch impermeability restoration is performed according to initially declared impermeability degree of a particular watch model.
Complex Refinishing
The level of complexity is determined by the condition of the watch: small, shallow scratches and abrasions are removed during polishing and are included in the service described above. However, deep scratches and/or dents are considered as complex manual operations that help to restore luster of your timepiece.
Rhodium Refinishing
Rhodium is a precious metal. As a result of chemical reaction as liquid it is planted on white gold alloy to make the alloy white or black: a true color of white gold alloy is not white but specific yellowish grey. Rhodium also serves a protective function. Removal of rhodium is performed manually by enhanced polishing which is a very complicated hand-made procedure. Thus, the presence of rhodium in the operation adds more value to the process of Refinishing.
Watch impermeability is the main purpose of the case. Lack of watch case impermeability gradually leads to the movement corrosion as a result of condensation and moisture inside the case. Impermeability guarantees the movement and other inside watch components preservation. Watch case maintenance service (hereinafter – CMS) is aimed at restoration of initial watch impermeability.
The CMS includes the following operations:*
• dismantling of a watch: a watch case is separated from a movement;
• complete dismantling of a watch case: pushers are disassembled, the tube of the crown is removed, the glass is extruded;
• dismantling of the crown’s spring; dismantling of the shaft, removal of gaskets and compactors;
• washing of all watch case parts in a ultrasonic machine with specific baths;
• different level polishing of all watch case parts;
• watch case assembling: glass and sleeve installation, assembling of a pusher with new gaskets (with replacement);
• restoration of watch case impermeability: replacement of all gaskets and compactors;**
• assembling of a watch;
• impermeability diagnostics.
*All operations of CMS are included in Refinishing; respectively, if the Customer chooses the Refinishing additional CMS is not required;
** Watch impermeability restoration is performed according to initially declared impermeability degree of a particular watch model.
Russian climate requires the replacement of all gaskets at least once in two years. Gaskets and compactors lose their elasticity due to sudden drops in temperature and humidity conditions.
Important!
Should the watch case impermeability is absent, the warranty on MMS is provided for 1 month.
Should the watch case is sealed the warranty lasts 12 months.
